Jamaica (2015)

In 1960s Belfast, a little boy with a wild imagination — inspired by his comics and books — resolves to stowaway on a boat to Jamaica and work there on a plantation, far from his conservative home, his brutal father and bickering parents.

Screened at several festivals including Hollyshorts, Dances With Films, Belfast Film Festival and Cine Pobre.

Helen was writer, director, producer and production designer on this project.

Jamaica was her first film.
