Making Love (2018)

A playwright with a dark past risks his life in returning to his home city to find out if a woman with whom he once had a passionate and illicit affair ever truly loved him, only to learn that it was only ever the unknowing and distance that kept their desire alive.

This film stars David Dastmalchian, Frédérique Bel and Nigel O'Neill. It was supported by a very generous group of individuals via our Kickstarter campaign and it received a post-production grant from Northern Ireland screen. At the time of its release, our film, trailer and associated clips were viewed over 3.5 million times online.

On this project, I was co-writer, director and production designer. I co-wrote the script with Peter Rollins, based on an original play he wrote called ‘The Gallows’. I produced the film with Johnny and Peter. Cinematography was by Ryan Kernaghan, editing by Caleb Swyers, music by Adrián Romero, colour by Bryce Behrman.
